Welcome to the home of the New Earnhardt Outdoors Fishing Tournament Series.
In September of 2023, Kerry Earnhardt joined us as a surprise guest for an offshore trip. We discussed a long term vision of activities and things we wished to do with Battle Scarred Outdoors in the coming years. The focus of our conversation was in regards to the Annual Heroes Offshore Adventure. We knew that in order to grow things to the level we wanted to, we would need to have the funding to support the growth. Leading up to this conversation, several charter Captains expressed interest in seeing us start a fishing tournament. Jokingly, we discussed starting the first Heroes Benefit Fishing Tournament that following May. Kerry said, “Let’s do it. You have my full support.”
After 2 successful tournaments under our belt, we were presented with the idea of hosting a Bluefin Tuna Tournament, out of Oregon Inlet. After much thought and consideration, we decided to give it ago.
Upon the completion of the 3rd Annual Heroes Benefit Fishing Tournament, we decided to merge the 2 tournaments into a mini series. This allows for a broader sponsorship opportunity for our sponsors, gives us room to grow the series by adding future tournaments, and helps us bring everything together.
Tournament Tshirts explained: The fish displayed on the back of the shirt, is the largest fish weighed during the Heroes Benefit Fishing Tournament in May. The boat featured on the back, is the Top Boat from the Annual Heroes Offshore Adventure.
